Section 184
Statements, papers or documents before the Investigating Officer may be recorded by audio visual means

(1) Notwithstanding anything else written in this Code, in the following cases, the investigating officer may record or cause to be recorded by means of audiovisual means the statement, paper or any written document of the person suffering from the crime, the informant or the witness in the office of the public prosecutor:
(a) that the accused, by exerting undue influence on the person suffering from the offence, the informer or any witness, or by showing fear, terror or threat to him, will not allow him to appear in the court or even if he is present in the court, he will compel him to make a statement or affidavit in a way that is adverse to the statement or document made before the investigating officer. If there is reasonable cause to believe,
(b) If such person, informer or witness is unable to attend the police office or public prosecutor's office due to physical infirmity or being a minor,
(c) If the item to be presented to the court as evidence cannot be picked up from the place where the item is and brought to the court.
(2) The court may accept the audio-visual equipment recorded in accordance with sub-section (1) as evidence.
